Terms of Use

These terms apply to the websites and services of the IntelliScan Standards Institute (“the Institute”, “we”): this website, the AI Campus learning platform, our certification programmes and examinations, membership, and related tools. By using them you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. The Intelliscan Verify originality service has its own terms.
1. Accounts
- Give accurate details — certificates are issued in the name on your account. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person, one account.
- Where an institution or employer enrols you, its agreement with us may add terms that apply to you.
2. Courses, programmes and fees
- Fees are shown before you pay and are processed by Paystack (card, bank transfer or USSD). We never receive your card details.
- Access to a paid course opens on confirmed payment and lasts for the period stated on the course page (or 12 months if none is stated).
- Refunds: full refund if you request it within 7 days of payment and have not completed more than 20% of the course or attempted an exam; full refund if we cancel a cohort or cannot deliver a course; duplicate payments refunded in full. Otherwise fees are non-refundable. Refunds are returned through Paystack within 5–10 working days — email info@intelliscanstandardsinstitute.org with your payment reference.
3. Examinations, proctoring and certification
- Certification is awarded on meeting the published pass mark and integrity requirements. Sitting an exam does not guarantee a pass.
- Online exams may be proctored: your webcam and screen may be recorded and your identity verified, as described in the Privacy Policy. By starting a proctored exam you consent to this. Attempting to impersonate a candidate, use unauthorised aids or tamper with the proctoring is malpractice and may lead to failure, withdrawal of certificates and notification of your sponsor.
- Results flagged for review are decided by an Institute examiner. You may appeal in writing within 14 days of the result; the appeal outcome is final.
- Certificates remain the property of the Institute, are personal to you, and may be withdrawn if obtained through malpractice or false information. Certificates carry an ID that anyone can verify on our Verify page.
4. Membership
Membership runs for the term purchased and renews only if you renew it. Membership benefits are as described on the Membership page at the time of purchase and may be updated for future terms.
5. Content and intellectual property
The ADBOK framework, course materials, exam content, books and website content are the copyright of the Institute or its licensors. You may use them for your own learning; you may not copy, share, resell or publish them, or use them to build competing programmes, without written permission. Exam questions are confidential — reproducing them is malpractice.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the sites: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, upload malicious files, harvest data, or post unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory content in course forums. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
7. AI-assisted tools
Tools such as the ADBOK Advisor use AI models to answer questions and may make mistakes. They are learning aids, not authoritative rulings; the published ADBOK text and course materials prevail.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for continuous availability but cannot guarantee it. We may update courses, programmes, prices and these terms; changes do not affect purchases already made. Significant changes will be announced on the site or by email.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim connected with a service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service. We are not liable for employment or academic outcomes that depend on a certification, or for losses caused by inaccurate information you supplied. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.
